Do the screw kits come with Wood Type / Plastic Type Coarse Thread Screws?
Answer: No - Precision Machine Thread Screws replace the stock "WOOD TYPE / PLASTIC TYPE COARSE THREAD SCREWS" in the screw kits. Machine Screws have three times the thread for SUPERIOR hold! Our research shows 99% of current RC manufacturers now use machine screws in metal and plastic.

Are stainless screws stronger than the stock screws that come with the cars/truck/heli kits from the manufacturer?
Answer: Yes - We use A2-70/A4-80 (18.8/316) Stainless Steel Screws (Button, Socket & Countersunk Heads), Set Screws, Nuts & Washers. They are stronger than stock steel screws but not as strong as titanium.

Why use stainless? What are the benefits?

Answer: No - Our kits do not include any machined collared screws or screw pins (pins with threads on the end).

Where do you find the screw locations for RCScrewZ kits?
Answer: The manuals or schematics can be found on the vehicle manufacturer's website, providing screw type and location.

Do RCScrewZ kits come with 1.6mm, 2mm, and 2.5/2.6mm micro screws?
Answer: Yes, they do - Our 2mm and 2.5mm come in socket, button, and countersunk head types. The 1.6mm screws are only offered in socket/cap heads.

Why are some screw lengths in my kit longer/shorter than needed?
Answer: RCScrewZ screws are produced to standard manufacturing lengths. Longer screws can be trimmed to the manufacturer’s length.

Do all RCScrewZ kits come with a storage case and complete set of wrenches for installation?
Answer: Yes, all screw and bearing kits come with a reusable storage case, and all screw kits include a complete set of Bondhus short arm allen wrenches.

What if I only need a couple types of screws, not a complete kit – can I buy just the sizes I need?
Answer: We sell screw kits (100% replacement for any vehicle), BULK KITS for spares or bulk building, or INDIVIDUALLY, just in case you need one size!
