FAQs

How do I choose the right kit for my T2M car or truck?

Start with your exact T2M Model Collection (model name + any OEM/model number). Collections show first so you can confirm fitment before buying. Then choose your kit: Stainless Screw Kit, Rubber-Sealed Bearings (best for dirt/off-road), or Metal-Shielded Bearings (best for on-road/low-drag).

Rubber-Sealed vs Metal-Shielded bearings — which should I choose?

Rubber-Sealed bearings are the go-to for off-road trucks because the seals help keep out dirt and grit. Metal-Shielded bearings are great for on-road cars (and clean conditions) when you want smooth, low-drag performance. If you run mixed terrain, choose Rubber-Sealed; if you race on-road or do speed runs, choose Metal-Shielded.

What’s included in a T2M bearing kit?

Each bearing kit is model-specific and includes the sizes and quantities needed for the typical wheel/drivetrain locations (varies by model). Your kit product page lists the exact bearing sizes included. If your vehicle has a revision/RTR vs kit differences, message us your model number and we’ll confirm the right collection.

What’s included in a T2M stainless screw kit?

Model-specific stainless hardware for your T2M platform (varies by model), built to replace the common fasteners you touch during builds and maintenance. Benefits: cleaner look, better corrosion resistance, and less frustration than generic assortment packs. Check the kit product page for exact coverage and notes for your model.

Should I upgrade bearings, screws, or both first?

For most drivers, bearings are the biggest “feel” upgrade (smoother rolling, better efficiency). Screws are the best long-term durability upgrade (rust resistance and easier future wrenching). If you’re rebuilding or doing a fresh build, many customers grab both: bearings + stainless screws for a complete refresh.

I don’t see my exact T2M model — what should I do?

Send us your T2M model name and any model/OEM number from the box or manual. We’ll help you find the correct Model Collection (or add it) so you don’t guess. This is especially helpful when a platform has multiple versions or revisions.

Will these kits fit different versions or upgraded builds?

Often yes, but versions can vary (RTR vs kit, revisions, option parts). Always verify the correct Model Collection first. If you’ve changed hubs/drivetrain parts, compare the bearing size list on the product page. Running a buggy/truggy variant? Message us the model number and we’ll confirm fitment fast.

Any bearing install tips so they last longer?

Press bearings in square (don’t force at an angle), and don’t crush the shield/seal during install. Keep grit out during assembly and wipe down after off-road runs. If you run wet/dusty conditions, Rubber-Sealed bearings will usually last longer.

How fast do you ship, and what if I pick the wrong kit?

We ship quickly in the U.S., and the “Model Collection first” flow helps prevent wrong orders. If you’re unsure before buying, message us your model number and we’ll point you to the correct collection. If something still doesn’t look right after purchase, contact us and we’ll help you get it sorted.

Why buy a model-specific kit instead of a cheap assortment?

Assortment packs include lots of sizes you’ll never use—and still miss the sizes you actually need. Model-specific kits save time because they’re built around your exact T2M platform. Less guesswork, cleaner installs, and a more reliable upgrade for your car or truck.
