Refunds & Returns Policy

  • Refund timing

    Issued within 3 business days after your return is delivered/received.

  • Condition & fees

    Factory-sealed kits: full refund. Opened but complete: 20% restocking fee. Missing components: 20% restocking fee.

  • Exchanges

    Order the correct kit; request our prepaid label to return the original.

  • Wrong/defective

    Wrong item received: we replace immediately. Defective: report within 14 days with photos — replace or refund.

What Can I Return?

You can return any kit within 30 days of delivery. Kits must be unused or gently handled for inspection.

  • Factory-sealed kits — full refund.
  • Opened but complete kits — 20% restocking fee.
  • Returns missing components — 20% restocking fee.

How Do Returns Work?

  • Prepaid label: We email you a prepaid USPS return label. No RMA needed when using our label.
  • Customer-paid returns: If you choose your own carrier, request an RMA number from us first and include it on the label.
  • Refunds: Issued within 3 business days after your return is delivered/received.

Exchanges & Ordering the Wrong Kit

If you ordered the wrong kit, please place a new order for the correct kit and request our prepaid return label for the original. We’ll refund the original after it’s received.

Wrong Item Received

If what you received doesn’t match your order (e.g., label shows a different model), send a photo and we’ll ship the correct kit immediately at no cost.

Missing Pieces & Mis-packs

Our kits are hand-packed—rare mis-packs can happen. Report missing pieces within 14 days of delivery with a quick photo of what you received; we’ll ship the missing pieces at no charge. After that 14-day window, we’ll still ship missing pieces at no charge.

Damaged or Defective

  • Damaged on arrival: Report with photos within 5 business days of delivery — we’ll replace immediately.
  • Defective product (not shipping damage): Report within 14 days of delivery with photos — your choice: replacement or refund.

What’s Included / Not Included in Kits

Our model-specific kits include the most-used machine-thread screws for your vehicle. Not included: barrel screws, shoulder/collared screws, screw pins, wood/coarse-thread screws (replaced with precision machine-thread alternatives), e-clips, body clips, turnbuckles, hinge pins, and other specialty/patent-pending parts.

Cancellations

  • Before a shipping label is created: we’ll cancel in full and refund to your original payment method.
  • After a label is created or the order has shipped: we can’t cancel, but you can return using our prepaid label after delivery. (See Returns above.)

All returns must use our prepaid return label to our Michigan facility.

International Orders

We don’t ship internationally from our website. International customers can order via our eBay store using eBay’s International Shipping program (https://www.ebay.com/str/jcwent). eBay handles international shipping, duties/taxes/VAT, returns, and lost shipments.
