If you run your Serpent Cobra MT-e RTR 1/8 Electric Monster Truck (600038) mainly off-road, rubber-shielded sealed bearings are usually the best choice. The rubber seals help keep out dirt, dust, sand and splash so hubs and drivetrain stay smoother longer. Metal-shielded bearings roll with slightly less drag and work best when you run mostly on clean pavement or prepared on-road tracks.
