When using this kit on the original Team Associated RC10 chassis, you may need to modify the chamfered holes to fit the standard screw heads provided. The original screws had low-profile heads with a 90-degree angle. Adjusting the chamfered holes ensures a proper fit.
FAQs:
Q: Do I need to modify the holes on my gold classic chassis?
A: Yes, the original 832 x 1/2" factory screws are low-profile and require re-chamfering for standard screws to sit flush. Alternatively, avoid replacing those four aluminum screws.
Q: Does the kit include undercut countersunk screws?
A: No, those are specialty screws by Team Associated. Our screws can be used as replacements with chamfer modifications. Or, purchase the specialty screws separately.
Note: Using our screws requires re-chamfering for a proper fit. Alternatively, keep the original aluminum screws.
