Missing Screws in Your RC Kit? What to Check and How to Get Help

If you think a screw is missing from your RC kit, pause the repair and check the kit details first. A part that is not included in the kit is different from a listed part that was not packed.

1. Check the kit and your exact RC model

Compare the kit number on the label with your order and the product page. Then check your vehicle's full model name, number and version. You can find these on the box, vehicle label or manual. A similar name or picture is not enough to confirm that a kit is right for your vehicle.

If your vehicle has parts added or changed after it was made, mention them when asking for help. Do not assume a kit for the original model covers every changed part.

2. Check what the kit includes

Read the exact kit's product page and any list supplied with it. Do not assume a screw kit replaces every special screw or pin in the vehicle.

3. Identify the part you need

Find the drawing and parts list in the manual for your exact model. Note the part number, listed size and number of screws you believe are missing. Mark their positions on a copy or photo of the drawing if you can.
